Eligibility and verification. Individual sellers and registered companies may apply only if both their seller address and dispatch address are in Gauteng, South Africa. Applications from other regions are not currently accepted. Additional regions may be opened in future. All information must be accurate, and the applicant must have authority to operate the store and provide the documents. ACEALOT reviews each application before granting seller access. Approval is not automatic.

Plans. Starter costs R0 per month with a 10% sales commission and a maximum of 50 products. Growth costs R299 per month with a 6% sales commission and a maximum of 500 products. ACEALOT ONLINE is currently not VAT registered. No VAT is added to these fees. Payment processing fees are included in the sales commission and are not separately charged to the seller. A once-off application fee of R588, with no VAT added, is payable when submitting an application for either plan. The application enters review only after payment is confirmed. If the application is rejected, the application fee paid will be refunded. Once the application is approved, the application fee is non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. Paid-plan billing starts only when the store is activated; monthly plan fees apply while the paid plan remains in force. Changes to plans require marketplace approval.

Commission basis. The commission applies to the seller's product amount paid after discounts; delivery charges are excluded. Refunds and payment reversals must be reconciled in the seller's settlement statement. No VAT is currently charged on platform fees. Sellers will be notified before any future change to this tax treatment.

Products. Only new products may be listed. Sellers must have the right to sell the goods and use the images, maintain accurate prices and availability, and provide truthful descriptions. Counterfeit, prohibited, unsafe or misleading listings are not permitted. The product limit includes inactive listings.

Delivery. Sellers arrange delivery and are responsible for dispatch, tracking, safe packaging and proof of delivery. Customers are currently served in Gauteng only. Delivery is free when the product subtotal from one seller is R500 or more; the seller bears this delivery cost. Orders below R500 from one seller have a R95 delivery charge. The threshold is calculated separately for each seller in a mixed cart. Sellers must be able to fulfil the delivery promise shown to the customer and must promptly report delays.

Settlement. Orders become eligible for settlement after confirmed delivery plus seven days, provided payment has cleared and there is no unresolved dispute, refund, chargeback or fraud concern. Eligible amounts are reconciled and paid in a weekly settlement run to the verified bank account. This is a manual reconciliation and payout process; it is not an automatic bank-transfer promise. Statements identify sales, commission, applicable tax, refunds and other agreed adjustments. Disputed amounts may be held until resolved.

Returns and responsibility. Sellers must cooperate with returns, refunds, warranties and customer complaints, and provide remedies required by applicable law and the published returns policy. Sellers are responsible for wrong, damaged, defective or misdescribed goods supplied by them and the reasonable related return or replacement delivery costs. Other return costs are determined under the applicable customer returns policy and law. A customer complaint must not be rejected solely because the seller has already been paid.

Account management. ACEALOT may request updated verification, restrict misleading or unsafe listings, or suspend a store for unresolved verification or serious breaches. Sellers may request closure or a plan change through support. Outstanding orders, refunds and balances must be resolved before final closure. No traffic volume, sales volume or earnings are guaranteed.

Privacy and documents. Verification documents are used for application review, fraud prevention and administering the seller relationship. They are not public storefront content. Access is restricted to authorised staff; access and review decisions are recorded. Documents should be retained only as needed for those purposes and applicable record-keeping obligations. Requests for access, correction or deletion can be made through ACEALOT support on 010 880 8741.
